Emtone doesn't hurt, and it requires no anaesthesia. First, you'll lie down on a treatment table. Your provider will place a grounding pad on your back, to safely deliver radiofrequency energy. Then they'll glide the Emtone handpiece over your skin with the help of a conductive moisturizing lotion. Your skin will feel warm as the tissue temperature rises, but the continual movement of the handpiece and an automatic-shutoff safety feature ensures that it won't become too hot or uncomfortable.

Full results are seen 12 weeks after your last session, once new collagen has developed and continue to improve for several weeks. 3-12 monthly follow-up appointments are recommended to maintain results.

Emtone requires no downtime following treatment. The skin feels warm to touch or pink for several minutes following treatment. Patients may resume normal activities immediately following treatment.
